Why did we partner with GTA?

Listen. Travel is hard, on us, on our friends, on our mental health, on our physical health and on the communities that host us. 

AEI is here to try and make travel as simple as possible to make sure you have the best experience possible and GTA is part of that mission.

We visit all our placements before any of our clients do to make sure they are safe, ethical, justice focused and have high levels of animal welfare and conservation practices. 

We carbon balance our clients in country travel.

We provide pre-departure training and manuals about the specific country.

We provide on going support to all our clients, pre-departure, while on the experience and when they get home.

But we realised we were missing something and this was a way for our clients to really be the best travellers they could be. To understand their place in the world just a little bit better before they went on trip and while they were there. We were setting up our clients for success at the animal centre but were we doing the best we could do for them in the COUNTRY they were staying in? The Global Travel Academy stepped in and said this is just what they could do.
